Rich Never Reveal Their Secrets
With all my experience being a founder, solo developer and engineer, designer etc. I would love to categorise people into two types
- A person who just blindly follows the society-imbibed rules. They hate thinking because they love the solutions given by others instead of straining their brain
- A person who loves to go against the crowd, the motivated guy in the group who is too foolish to experiment
The first category is definitely on the safe path; they have that pattern: go study, get good marks, then go study for a bachelor's and get a good job, get decent money, marry someone, and just lead a family life. That's it and they enjoy it
So I don't wanna talk about the people who enjoy their lives. But let's talk about the guys who love to try something new in their lives. Security is the handcuffs to their dream life. They watch and learn from many entrepreneurs out there. They binge on being successful. Wake up with the zeal of a fighter who is gonna be that millionaire or who was on the podcast last night. Basically, they are thinkers who question a lot and then get fooled by the podcasters and their founder guests telling them, you have to use AI, and it's all about AI now, you should be that guy who can make anything with AI to be that billionaire
The sheep listening to this 1000k$ investor, who invested in that AI company, feel lost in that brutal millionaire’s words and become the messengers in the socials as if they have earned millions out of that shitty little LLM. But in reality, we call it influence. A growth-seeking person is attracted to another growth-seeking person and loses the frame of thought, stops questioning. The next day, they look at some other famous businessman who sounds too cool on socials, giving the viewers the belief that he is talking all the truths and revealing all his secrets on the path
Type - 2 people love him so much, they become the biggest fans and admire him as if he had given his one-year revenue to them
- Here is where Type 2 people miss the logic and fall for the identity crisis. They are extremely focused on Trends/hot topics by cool guys instead of working on what actually worked before
- Money can be earned in n number of ways, getting richer can happen in luck (minus) n no.of. missed opportunities
- The point isn't about making it, the point is about how we’re gonna make it?
- Data is a goldmine. You just have to connect the dots on what actually worked before, then envision the 5 years with metrics and the worst-case predictions. It's not about the identities that you’re gonna earn money from. It's you being that one legit person trusted by many who are willing to pay you. Don't listen to anybody when it comes to “capturing your brain”
- One has to try with their own will to accept the failures and rise again for that one beautiful opportunity. Listening to someone blindly without questioning, without weighing the evens & odds with data, is more dangerous than failing at your own will
